Privacy Policy

1. Scope and contact

This policy describes how the CocoHumanizer service, also called Coco Humanizer, handles information through its writing editor and support channel. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@cocohumanizer.com.

2. Information you provide

When you request a rewrite, we process your draft, tone, and selected controls, including any exact terms. If you email us, we receive your address and the information in your message. Rewriting your own text requires a free account; the built-in sample can be tried without signing in. Google sign-in provides a verified email address, an account identifier, and a name if available. Email sign-in uses a one-time verification code. We do not receive your Google password and do not ask for payment information.

Please submit only text you have permission to share. Avoid confidential documents, passwords, financial information, health information, or other sensitive personal data.

3. How information is used and shared

Your text and settings are sent to DeepSeek through its API to produce a rewrite. Google authenticates Google sign-ins. Resend processes your email address and verification email for passwordless email sign-in. Request-limit keys use hashed identifiers, including a salted network identifier, to reduce abuse. We use hosting and delivery services, including Cloudflare, to serve the site and handle requests. Technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and error information may be processed for delivery, reliability, and security.

Support messages are used to answer your questions and investigate reported problems. We may also retain or disclose information where required by law or necessary to address misuse and protect the service.

Provider processing is subject to the arrangements and policies that apply to those services. See DeepSeek’s Open Platform Terms and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. We do not promise zero retention or that submitted content is excluded from every provider use.

4. Storage and retention

We keep account identifiers, email addresses, sign-in times, hashed session tokens, verification records, and request-limit counters in our account database. Sessions expire after 30 days; email codes expire after 10 minutes and can be used once. Expired security records are removed in bounded cleanup jobs. Account records are retained to operate your account; contact support to request deletion. We do not save draft or result history in that database. Text is held in the editor while you work. Uploaded TXT, DOCX, and PDF files are read in your browser; the original file is not uploaded to our servers. Only the text in the editor and your selected settings are sent when you choose Humanize text. Formatting and embedded images are not retained. Downloaded files are saved to your device when you choose to export them.

This does not mean every request disappears immediately: hosting, AI, and email providers may keep records under their own service terms and operational requirements. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and related obligations. Processing may take place outside your country.

5. Cookies and browser features

The editor does not add advertising trackers. It uses an HttpOnly session cookie for sign-in. Before a Google login redirect, your current draft and editor settings are temporarily placed in this tab’s session storage, then removed when restored. Snapshots older than 30 minutes are ignored. Hosting or access services may use cookies or similar technology for security and sign-in. Copy and download actions use your browser’s standard features. Private preview access is managed separately by the hosting platform.

Analytics

Google Analytics uses optional analytics cookies to measure page visits, approximate location, device and browser information, and scrolling. We do not send drafts, rewrite results, uploaded documents, email addresses, or account identifiers to Google Analytics. We remove URL query strings and fragments from page locations sent to Analytics, and do not enable advertising personalization or Google signals.

For visitors identified as being in the United States or Hong Kong, basic analytics is enabled by default unless you have opted out. In other or unidentified locations, analytics waits for your permission. We use the hosting network’s country information to select this behavior, without requesting precise device location. We honor browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by disabling analytics by default. You can accept or reject optional analytics cookies and change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not affect the writing service. Your choice is stored in your browser. Google processes analytics information on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. 6. Your choices and requests

You can stop a rewrite, clear the input, or leave the editor. Clearing the page does not delete records already held by service providers. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, or request a copy of personal information.

Email our support address to make a request. We may need information to verify and locate it. Do not send additional sensitive information unless needed. We will handle requests as required by applicable law. Where available, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

7. Updates

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
